Laura Meno

Laura Meno was born and raised in  Los Angeles, California where she married her husband John and they raised their two children.  Her love for people brought her to work in education for over 20 years.  Part of that time, included work as a public high school volunteer in the 4H and FFA programs that served over 700 students each year.  Through this, she was recognized as an Honorary Farmer by FFA.  She also raised guide dogs for Guide Dogs of America for many years.  Her love for serving others  did not stop there, but extended to church service where she served in many capacities including Missionettes, youth group, cold weather shelter (helping the homeless during the winter), mentoring college students and involvement in women’s ministry.

She now lives in central Ohio with her husband and raises bees and cattle as part of her home grown business.  She was drawn to Quiet Pastures because of the vision of the organization, as well as her attraction to both the horses and the healing relationship they bring to the people they serve.   She now serves on the Board of Directors and is excited to help guide the organization forward as they serve the community around them.
